The aim of this short course is to give you the knowledge and confidence to monitor your own oral anticoagulation.
Course tutors, who are anticoagulation professionals, are available to answer any questions about the material.
We estimate that completing the entire course will take around an hour. When you have completed it, you will be able to print off a certificate to print off and take to your GP.
Before buying a coagulometer (self-testing machine) you will first need to agree this with your GP. Whilst most GPs will be supportive, this certificate provides them with proof that you have the knowledge and motivation to self-test.
